Meet the creative team with the passion for Fig:

Deb Brandt: Creative Director and Owner

She's the vision behind Fig--a force of nature who is also at the helm of Fig Lancaster and Moxie House's other ventures, apparently never sleeps, and still manages to have an inspiring relationship with her husband, Matt, and be a supermom to three beautiful, brilliant children.

Jena Miller: Senior Designer She graduated with honors and distinction from Kutztown University with a BFA in Communication Design. She's inspired by new visual aesthetics and the gift of the arts in everyday life. She also wears the hats of cat-enthusiast, junk collector, artist, and full-time fun seeker.

Shani Tucker: Designer Shani graduated from Kutztown University and was the recipient of the Karen L. Anderson Memorial Award For Excellence in Graphic Design. As a former English and Art History major, she's always been inspired by the aesthetic and cultural accomplishments of the past. (Which explains her obsession with vintage skirts, Hitchcock films, and swing dancing.)

Jeremy Hess: Photographer Jeremy finds light, captures its reflection, and shares it through photographs. For the past five years Jeremy has partnered with the fig team sharing visual stories. When not chasing light...Jeremy and his wife are chasing after their four kids.

Ellen Brown: Writer An honors graduate of Franklin & Marshall and later the Assistant Director of their Writers House; Ellen was also A.D. of the Lancaster Literary Guild and managing editor of their journal Rapportage. When she’s not writing for magazines; copywriting for advertising agencies -- or writing her own nonfiction essays --she likes to ponder the philosophical: How does one truly distinguish between thought and belief? And how did those scratch-n-sniff stickers ever work? Especially, the pickle.

Ken Mueller:  Social Media Strategist Ken is an Inbound Marketing Certified Professional, after graduating from Inbound Marketing University with honors. He is also a certified Inbound Marketing Educator. He has worked extensively in the radio industry as well as social media. Mueller has a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting as well as graduate work in Mass Communication. He and his family live in the city of Lancaster, where he can often be found working from his porch.

Matt Brandt: Everything else He helps steer the ship. From Tiffany's to JDEdwards to Armstrong, Matt has been in and out of corporate life for the past 15 years and brings a wide array of experiences to help keep Moxie House moving. He's an artisan letterpress printer with a passion for the smell of ink, and like his beautiful wife, rarely finds time to sleep.
