    One more summer month left to experience Cork & Cap Restaurant’s Summer at the Smokestack! For the past few summer months the restaurant has offered a series of themed menus (which changed each month) that was created just for outdoor seated diners by the Smokestack on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting at 4pm. If you love food, the sun, being outside, and better yet, wine, then you need to get yourself over there! August is the last month of their Smokestack series and the menu featured is wine pairings.

     

    For just $49 per person, you get a 3-course wine pairing meal that will leave you so satisfied that you will have to take a breather and relax in the cozy outdoor setting before you hop into your car and go home! Now that is when you know that your meal was a great deal!

     

    Here are some of the dishes featured on the menu, enjoy!

     

    FIRST COURSE: Portobello, Walnut, & Goat Cheese Strudel with The Crossings Sauvignon Blanc 2013 from New Zealand

    SECOND COURSE: Pan Seared Duck Breast with Le Grand Pinot Noir 2014 from France

    THIRD COURSE: Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte with Fonseca 20 Year Tawny Port from Portugal
