It’s time for one of our favorite evenings in Lancaster. On Friday, May 5 explore unique art galleries, enjoy delicious restaurants (and food trucks!), and discover new businesses downtown.
Here’s your quick guide to what’s happening this First Friday!
Stop by Red Raven Company to see featured artists Dorothy Frey featuring "Middle Ground" and experience “Lancaster… A Love Letter” by Kenny Germann. Artwork will fill four floors of the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design as the Class of 2017 exhibit professional-level senior thesis projects in a variety of media ranging from photography and fine art to graphic design and illustration! We're proud to sponsor this Senior Show and can’t wait to check it out.
Are you ready for some carnival excitement? We are! After the art, discover the Buchanan Park Carnival for tasty treats and exciting thrills! Stop by the park for carnival foods, games, rides, and music. And don't forget the fireworks Friday evening!
Have you heard? Lancaster Mennonite School is opening a new school downtown: Saint James School! Located in Saint James Episcopal Church, the school will provide innovative learning experiences for students in prekindergarten. The school will be having an open house from 4-7pm.
