Snapshot Fashion Lancaster – Street Style

It was an unseasonably warm Saturday afternoon, so a trip to Lancaster’s Central Market was a must. What I really enjoy about Saturdays in Lancaster is the people watching, and more specifically the fashions on the streets. The eclectic artistic community of Lancaster is a great place to look for these sidewalk fashionistas.

I came across Shauna Goodman while walking on Orange Street between Queen Street and Prince Street.  The first thing I noticed about her look was her colorful scarf. Scarves are a perfect way to add some pizzazz to your outfit. Shauna was telling me that it is one of her wardrobe must haves because you can wear them to hide or flatter certain parts of your body.

Shauna was also wearing some other basic items that everyone should own: riding boots, a leather (real or faux) motorcycle jacket, and a denim button up shirt. She told me that she really didn’t even pay much attention to what she was wearing…which just goes to show you that if you keep key pieces in your closet it will give you a strong foundation of a chic outfit.

Diane Dulgerian brought her shopping/fashion website, Snapshot Fashion, to life while living in New York City and is now bringing it to the streets of Downtown Lancaster.  She is always on the lookout for unique pieces that set a look apart from the rest.  To read more about Diane’s Snapshot Fashion site, please visit her blog.
